Firstly, nga mihi nui ki Nga Hapu o Otaki me Raukawa ki Runga i whiwhi taonga mo nga rohe hei tiaki te kaupapa o Pa Paoro Maori. Tenei te tuku mihi ki a koutou. Congratulations to Nga Hapu o Otaki and Raukawa ki Runga who won the Overall trophy for being the best example of supporting the Kaupapa of Maori touch NZ. Your efforts and commitment to MTNZ kaupapa is a prime example of looking after our rangatahi and the overall wellbeing of your rohe through sport. We hope that you continue to develop and mentor your rangatahi and tuakana working as one iwi. Nga mihi nui.

Secondly, congratulations to Te Mahurehure for winning the 'Best and Fairest' Team/Rohe trophy. This rohe was commended on their positive attitude not only by the referees, but also by the public and other teams. Their input into the tournament included providing referees to help with the pressure that the referee contingent face year after year. This rohe also provided a number of experienced selectors, not to mention spectators who carried and supported the kaupapa of MTNZ. Your support goes without huge appreciation. Nga Mihi nui ki a koutou.
